Located just below Ethiopia on Africa's eastern coast, Kenya offers a diverse landscape of central plateaus, arid deserts, and coastal plains that stretch along the Indian Ocean. This expedition will feature celebrations of brilliant song and dance and humanitarian service in collaboration with The National Parks band.

Registered as a local NGO, CHOICE Humanitarian utilizes its proven model of self-development to empower and mobilize rural villages across Kenya. Since its first expedition in 1993, CHOICE Kenya has impacted more than 70 villages, promoting positive change in the lives of over 370,000 native Kenyan villagers.

Community: Sakake, Kwale County near Mombasa

Project: This expedition will work in the community primary school to finish the construction and renovations on two new classrooms. We will also be building school desks and planting trees in the community as a reforestation effort.

There will also be a Days for Girls training held for the women in the community and a Men Who Know training held for the men in the community. This project work will be in addition to the musical exchange program with The National Parks and local Kenyan musicians.
