Breakfast of Humanitarians 2021

Watch the Program

It was an incredible morning together with old friends and new acquaintancesboth in-person and online—at the 13th annual Breakfast of Humanitarians. It was our first time hosting a hybrid event, and doing so allowed us to welcome attendees from all over the world in addition to the 200+ guests that were in the room.

Watch the recording above and learn about CHOICE Humanitarian's effective approach to eliminating extreme poverty, recent progress updates from the field, and the addition of the Navajo Nation to our locations of work.

The Potential for the Navajo Nation

No electricity, no running water, and limited access to food. For many of the Diné (Navajo people) who reside in the Former Bennett Freeze Area of the Navajo Nation, daily life can be a challenge. However, there is hope. Watch Marilyn Reed, Navajo Nation director for CHOICE Humanitarian, explain how Hoophouses are being built to help increase food security for Navajo rural communities.
